Valerio Barralis | Photos for the book “Je suis Valerio - Le mie crostate”
One of the most exciting and challenging work in the last years.
When my friend Valerio called and told me that he was planning his first book and he wanted me to take the pictures for it I was completely out of my head!
Valerio is a friend and a real professional in his job and for me it was an honor thinking that I had the chance to have a part in his new and important adventure.
So, we planned all the work and when I joined Valerio for the shooting at the lab I was speechless: he was already working for a week before (kinda 8/10 hours a day) in order to have all the preparations for the tarts ready to be combined and photographed.
We immediately started shooting the evening that I arrived and we continued incessantly for the next two days.
It was hard but photo after photo we were more and more excited for what we were doing thinking about how the book will look like.

Well, it was an incredible experience and a great satisfaction, both as a photographer and as a friend.
When I held the book in my hands for the first time I was incredulous and super happy at the same time. I was a part of that masterpiece by Valerio and working with the whole team that made it possibile was amazing.
